I am an ambitious graduate Graphic Design student looking for a creative role within the advertising industry.

Achieving a 1st class honours for my degree at Coventry University,

I have also had relevant work experience with the advertising agency

Tag Worldwide and the Walt Disney Company, where I designed

a collector’s edition box-set for the re-release of The Lion King, the design of which was later pitched as a potential concept to the Disney team.

I have also originated a print campaign for the NHS Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group which was implemented throughout GP practices within the area earlier this year.

I have a conceptual and original approach to client briefs, with a particular flair in artwork generation and print design, producing work that has purpose and influence, encouraging the audience to consider the way they perceive things.

I am proficient in a range of mediums, from hand crafted work to the

use of creative software, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, which allows inspiring outcomes to go one step further. I am a quick learner of new skills and often self-taught in new techniques, allowing room for me to develop as a more rounded practitioner.

I hope to learn and grow creatively within a role, maintaining high standards and enabling the chance to place my own stamp on the

design industry in the future.

Tag Worldwide, London

3 week placement
(April/May 2014)

During this placement, I was tasked with creating promotional posters for Levi’s flagship store and the development of Tesco‘s in-store advertising, with my designs being sent to the client for consideration.

I experienced the processes found within a large scale advertising agency through the shadowing of senior account managers. Also, I spent time within each of Tag’s different media areas, including the design studios, the retail and exhibition team and the post-production studio Smoke & Mirrors.

Hixville, SOHO

1 week voluntary assistant
(July 2013)

I learnt how a creative agency produces design for larger companies (e.g. Universal and Disney) and recognised the importance of a collaborative effort by a design team, cultivating into a final impressive outcome.

During the time, I was set small design tasks, receiving positive feedback from the Creative Director on the quality of my work with the opportunity

to return to further my experience in the future.

AGI, Hammersmith

1 week voluntary assistant
(2012)

Here, I saw how assets and material are adapted to suit different cultural markets (mainly US to UK) and was involved with the creation of inventive advertising packaging solutions, again with positive feedback on my contribution. I also developed a deeper knowledge of how a departmental company runs and its organisation and delegation of creative tasks amongst a design team.

The Walt Disney Company, Hammersmith

1 week voluntary assistant
(2011)

During this experience, I explored marketing campaigns of DVD material and developed a deeper understanding of the costs and practicality of

a design’s manufacture. I worked within a departmental team, supporting other colleagues in the break up of tasks and progressing with feedback.

Also, I had hands on experience designing a product suitable for the collector's market for the re-release of The Lion King, with my designs later being pitched back to Disney as potential concepts from their design

agency AGI.

Furthermore, I strengthened my ability to convey ideas to clients through drawn concept sketches, storyboards and diagrams and was praised for my originality and creative flair in approach to the design problem, aiming to go above and beyond a client’s expectations.
